Device specifications
The meter weighs only 50 grams and operates for over 1000 tests on one set of batteries. Results appear within 5 seconds of applying the blood sample. The device stores up to 500 separate measurements in its memory and automatically shuts off after two minutes of inactivity.
Test strips
The ketone test strips measure levels from 0 to 8.0 mmol/L. The glucose test strips measure levels from 10 to 600mg/dL. Both types of strips are CE certified medical devices and require only a very small blood sample.
Lancing device
The included lancing device features five adjustable penetration levels for different skin types. It includes a lancet load indicator and allows for easy replacement of used lancets. Twenty sterile lancets are provided with the starter pack.
How to use
Insert the appropriate test strip into the meter. Use the lancing device to obtain a blood sample from your fingertip. Apply the blood sample to the test strip area. The result will display on the meter screen within 5 seconds.
